"Getting what you've ordered in a mate,"

Ladies and Gentlemen:

I would like to talk to both sexes today since I generally relate to women a little more since I am a women. Today I would like to talk about getting what you want out of a relationship and not settling.

Far too many of times we complain about being trapped, or not getting what we want in our relationships. Now let's talk! I know that people can put on a front pretending to be something that they are not, but our job (and yes it a job) is to find out a person's TRUE NATURE AND MOTIVES. We can't just go by being attracted to that person or base our likes on one thing that you may like about that person, but it is their overall personality that you are trying to scope out. If they are the essence of what you need or want.

This is a very funny story that happened to me. One day this guy had approached me to see if I was interested in him. I told him like Nehemiah in the bible, "I said that I was too busy doing the work for the Lord and I couldn't come down." lol I knew that if he was from God that he would have come up to meet me and work with me too. Anyway, he persisted to get my attention. So out of kindness, I paid him some attention. He stated, I like everything about you! Everything! Hmmm, okay. So as we continued to be friends. Little by little he told me that he couldn't talk to a women with a short hair cut. He asked me would I ever consider weaving my hair? I told him that I worked out, and that my hair was short because I needed it to be convenient. He was disappointed because he had liked everything about me. Later, he told me that he didn't like a women with natural hair. Would I ever consider relaxing my hair? Again, I explained to him that I had long, relaxed hair prior to meeting him, and that this was a decision to accommodate my lifestyle. I am a hairstylist so he knew that I could have weaved or relaxed it at any time, but I had chosen to wear it short and natural. Needless to say, he was disappointed because he had really liked everything about me. Later, he told me, " I don't see why you work out anyway, women don't need muscles. I don't like women with muscles. Women is supposed to be soft and dainty," he said. " If we got together would you ever stop working out?" he asked. I explained to him that working out was for the elite, but that I was one and I enjoyed it. I explained that for me it was a way of life and that I was doing it for my heart. Again, he was disappointed because he had really liked everything about me. Finally, he told me that he had seen me without any makeup on and that he really love me naturally. He expressed to me how he would love a women who just didn't wear makeup. At that point I began to think that this man was not at all interested in me for me. He was looking at everything about me that he could have change, and then I would be perfect for him. This is so funny to me. Why? Well, because far too many of times we do the very same thing. We Juuuuust don't say it. Later, I found out what he really loved overall about me was the one fact that I was a devout christian.

You see he weighed everything on that one thing. The fact that I was a christian was like the only percentage in what he was looking for. The other 99 percentage wasn't there for him. Now listen! Sometimes we get so caught up on this. What you may not want in a person may be just what someone else wants or needs. I to him was not it. That doesn't hurt me to say that because unless he had something great in his personality he wasn't it for me either. lol

As men and women far too many of times we say we know what we want, but yet we do what this gentleman did to me. If I didn't know who I was; I would have fallen prey to this controlling spirit. I would have tried to conform to everything that he wanted. Which initially was me, but later became the me he wanted to perfect! It's okay to help better you future mate, but if you have to change them as much as my friend wanted to change me then you have to ask yourself shouldn't you just change your order, and order something that you really want instead of trying to recreate that person.

This is a good example for you to see this a little more clearer. If you placed your order for something to eat, and all of your associates have received what they actually ordered, but due to the fact your wasn't clear on what you wanted your waiter mixed your order up. Once you looked at it you knew it wasn't what you ordered, but instead of sending the whole order back; you kept calling the waiter back. Take back the fries I ordered potatoes. Then she brings you potatoes. Take back the fish I ordered a steak. She brings you a steak. Take back these mixed-vegetables I ordered asparagus. Finally, the waiter says to you I could have just brought you out this dinner we had it on the menu already, and it was tonight's special too. You see you wasted your time and even the other person's time by not being clear at first on what you want. That isn't fair to you or to them.

So my point is this: God is ready to take your order. So try to be clear on what you want in a mate so that you can at least get what you've ordered, and began to enjoy your long awaited meal/mate : ) ~GBU~

It's not that the word doesn't work, but it's because we don't work the word

As a minister of the gospel I have seen so many people tell the sheep about faith and they themselves don't have the fruits of faith in their lives. I firmly believe that Faith is something that will produce something. It will make the unseen come to pass.

When you are believing in God for something don't impress on others to feel sorry for you to make it happen. That is not faith! God will do what you need done without you using tricks or manipulation to get it. Faith lies in believing God and trusting Him to make it happen.

If we as God's children; especially the ministers would work on practicing what we know, and work on growing fruits on our spiritual trees, then the world would believe the gospel more readily. We have what SHOULD affect and change OUR lives. It's not that the word doesn't work, but it's because we don't work the word. Stop talking faith, and love and be faith and love. Your faith will make you whole. Your love is your true religion. Let me see who has become whole because of your faith and let me see your religion in your love walk.

Simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse and regret.

THEY ARE PERFECT, BUT WAIT IT MIGHT BE A SCAM

THEY ARE PERFECT! In fact, they're someone you could see yourself spending the rest of your life with a decent person with a good job or business in search of a good, honest partner to settle down with. BUT ....BEWARE IT MIGHT BE A SCAM!

You or someone you know may be dating this person online right now. However, BE WARNED. THINGS... AREN'T WHAT THEY APPEAR TO BE. In reality you're talking to a criminal sitting in a cybercafe with a WELL REHEARSED SCRIPT he's/she's used many times before. They are hunting through chat rooms, dating sites and social networking sites like Facebook, Myspace etc. searching for VICTIMS, LOOKING TO CASH IN ON ROMANCE. If you are over 40, recently divorced, a widow, elderly or disabled then all the better in their eyes. Scammers are adept at psychological profiling, and use ANY weakness they find to their advantage. Just because people are nice doesn't mean they are who they say they are. Hummm!! THINK PEOPLE, AND STAY SAFE!!

It's the newest evolution of the Nigerian advance fee (419) scam. Instead of sending spam letters that promise millions for your assistance, these scammers are targeting single men and women who are searching for love online.

They use psychological tricks to lure their victims in, use poetry and even gifts to get them under their spell, then once you are there, will try to reach for your wallet, all the time declaring their "undying love" for you. The scam may take the form of asking you to cash a check for them through your bank account because they are "out of the country" and unable to cash it themselves, or they may come right out and ask you to send money to help them out of a fabricated "financial difficulty" they claim to be experiencing. These are all lies used to try to make them easy money from an unsuspecting victim.

Some of the scammers don't want money from you. ALL THEY REALLY WANT IS THEIR GREENCARD. They will romance you and tell you everything that you are desiring and longing to hear. They usually targets Christians because they are deemed to be weak or more understanding/compassionate. They usually pose as Christians, ministers or evangelist. They may be visiting here on a ministers visa and have a limited time to find a spouse so that their citizenship can be made permanent. These people are usually good a lying to get what they want and if they don't get you; then on to their next prey. Lot's of scammers who only want their greencard will marry you and then after their aloted time they will then divorce you and then go back to their land of origin and get the women/man that is waiting for them; their true love. They will use people and do anything to get what they want.

This is a growing phenomenon; yes even on fb. We know many who have been approached and have even been scammed. If they are looking for a greencard BEWARE!! They will usually tell you they love you REAL FAST just so to get your emotions involved. Their only purpose is to get you to marry them.

The sad truth is, for every real profile you see on the internet, there are numerous false ones pretending to be your perfect mate and they are using photographs stolen from modeling agencies or social networking sites. The people in the photographs are as much victims as the people who get scammed for love, hundreds, thousands, even tens of thousands of dollars.

INTERNET ROMANCE SCAMS AND OTHER RELATED SCAMS AND OTHER RELATED CRIMES ARE VERY REAL, AND THEY ARE AFFECTING EVEN RUINING--LIVES THROUGHOUT THE WORLD.

THE BEST WEAPON AGAINST CRIME IS EDUCATION. The more people that are educated in the ways the scams work, the harder it is for the scammers to DECEIVE PEOPLE, and the more scammers that can be put out of business.

I am writing this to you because I have been approached even on facebook, and also I know a young lady in my home town about two years ago who was murdered by someone who she meet online. She had 4 children. Just because people say God, God that doesn't mean nothing. Satan can disguise himself as an angel of light. We must be careful and make wise choices! I am all about helping shed light on areas that needs to be lite up and this subject is crucial especially today.

I am not at all against meeting someone online, just BE CAREFUL AND DO YOUR HOMEWORK.

BE WISE AS A SERPENT AND HARMLESS AS A DOVE. YOU WANT LOVE, BUT YOU DON'T WANT TO BE SCAMMED!!!

GOD ANSWERS PRAYERS

In anguish and frustration I will cry out to my Father. I will say everything that my heart is feeling. I will cry and mourn for the pain that I am feeling. God always knows and understands. Never do I have to explain things to Him. He always comforts me and lift me up in His presence.

My heart is no longer heavy. For my Father always answers all of my prayers. He always, ALWAYS comes through for me. BLESSED BE THE NAME OF THE LORD MOST HIGH!

"You've got to maintain and keep your blessing."

Vashti was blessed with a king. Like so many of God's children we are blessed in so many areas of our lives and we don't even notice it. We take things for granted that others wished that they had. We treat them like they don't even matter. Vashti, didn't even realize... how fortunate she was to have such a good life. She let pride and arrogance rule her. She took for granted her blessings. Perhaps she had forgotten where she had came from; whatever the case she soon lost her blessings. What she had was stripped from her and was awarded to someone else. She then became a commoner; not favored, or for a lack of better words not blessed anymore.

God has brought us from a mighty long way. We once was in sin, and in utter darkness; but because of Jesus, and what he did on Calvary we now are blessed and highly favored by the King of all Kings. We mustn't refuse the King when he calls us like Vashti did . We should run to do whatever the King tells us to do. We must not forget it is because of his love that we are heirs to his throne. As Christians born again we must understand that we have the greatest gifts/blessings ever given to man and that's the gift of eternal life.

Vashti, like us had a great gift of being the queen, sitting along side the king when privy to, but she took her position in the palace for granted. We must learn from her mistake. We are in favor with God because of the blood of Jesus. He is our savior, He has bought us with a price. It was nothing that we done or has earned, but through the kindness of the Father He let His Son be put to death to pay for us to now be sitting in Heavenly places. Our names are written on the Lamb's book of life, but we must be sure to guard our Christian walk. We must always remember the great price that was paid and never trample over the blood of Jesus. We cannot do or live any kind of way just because we are his children. We are not our own for we were bought with a price. Actually, because we are his children we should walk circumspectly and not as fools. We are a peculiar people, and a royal priesthood; a chosen generation. Our life's belong solely to the King. We are to obey his wish and command for our life's. In doing this we may bring glory to the Father.

We must seek to please the King at all times. We must be eager to hear even his faintest call to us. Our attention and aim should always be on pleasing
The Most High. With this attitude the Father will be honored by our ways; because our ways unlike Vashti's ways will always pleased the King.
